Beta Applied sciences is collaborating with Close to Earth Autonomy to develop autonomous capabilities for its electrical and hybrid vertical take-off and touchdown (VTOL) plane. The partnership goals to allow plane to serve defence and industrial functions together with cargo logistics.
Beta has performed greater than 1,000 hours of uncrewed flights on a fleet of subscale plane, demonstrating a spread of greater than 158 nautical miles on a single cost.
