On-street charging is the answer for city EV drivers who don’t have devoted parking areas, and London is on the heart of the motion.
Now the London Borough of Harrow is rolling out 500 new on-street EV cost factors in partnership with EV charging supplier char.gy.
The cost factors are connected to lamp columns and supply low-powered charging, completely satisfactory for topping up an EV whereas it’s parked in a single day.
225 new cost factors have already been put in, and one other 275 are slated to be deployed by October 2028. The brand new cost factors run on 100% renewable electrical energy. They function clear pricing and discounted in a single day charges.
