Ecarx invests US$23m in Lotus Expertise

Ecarx will buy roughly 16.8 million Lotus Expertise shares at US$1.37 per share via a non-public placement

Ecarx Holdings has agreed to speculate US$23m in Lotus Expertise via a non-public placement, buying roughly 16.8 million strange shares at US$1.37 per share in a deal that builds on an current partnership between the 2 Nasdaq-listed corporations. The transaction, introduced on 29 December, is predicted to shut inside 30 days, with the shares topic to a six-month lock-up interval.

Ecarx develops computing and software program platforms for clever car cockpits, together with the Pikes computing platform and Cloudpeak software program platform. The businesses mentioned the funding would deepen their collaboration on clever cockpit methods.

In a press release, Lotus Expertise Chief Government Qingfeng Feng mentioned: “This strengthened partnership underscores the deepened world collaboration with Ecarx and our shared unwavering dedication to speed up innovation of next-generation clever cockpit ecosystems to ship unparalleled AI-driven experiences.”

Ecarx Chief Government and Chairman Ziyu Shen added: “This strategic funding represents a pure and important step ahead in Ecarx’s evolving partnership with Lotus Tech, constructing upon the deep technical collaboration we already share. Lotus is an iconic model with robust world recognition, and I stay optimistic about its progress potential in worldwide markets.”

The subscription settlement was signed on 23 December 2025.
